Australia Show!

fredag 04. november 2011, kl. 19.44 · av Danielle Buckley for Snakker ikke norsk · 0 kommentarer

Blimey Charlie our studio has been invaded by Aussies who are teaching us a thing or two about life down under.

G’day! Last week we took you down under to the sunburnt land of Australia, or ‘Stralia as the local people pronounce it.
How well do you speak Australian? If you’re anything like the poor students we spoke to, you need to work on your accent, mate! Listen to these Norwegians and other non-Australians having a shot at using Aussie expressions:

You will get nonstop giggles throughout the show as you listen to proper English girl Amy Lobl’s colonialist perspective on the history of Australia and a lesson on what it takes to be a bogan. Hold on for the last minutes of the show, as it climaxes into one bloody good rendition of ‘Waltzing Matilda,’ with host Ed Raison leading a chorus of resident Aussies in this unofficial anthem from down under.
